1) Grinding angles or slots too small to permit use of standard size wheels.
2) Grinding serrations, T-Slots and many other hard to get at surfaces.
3) Provides higher speed than is possible with a regular surface grinder
spindle.
4) Also can be used to grind small radii, contours in die blocks, and other
parts requiring this type of grinding.
Spindle:
Designed and manufactured to maintain long, accurate life. Equipped with
permanently lubricated, preloaded, super precision ball bearings.
Mounting:
Attachment is easily mounted on surface grinder spindle housing. Eccentric
bushing serves to adjust belt tension. Bushings are available for mounting
unit on either 6 x 12 or 6 x 18 Boyar-Schultz surface grinders. Bushings
could be made to mount this attachment on other brands of surface grinders.
Speed:
Spindle speed of attachment is 14,000 RPM when driven by a spindle speed of
3,000 RPM.
