SQSS Cutting Head Vibration Control (0-100% – This control changes the intensity of vibration at the SQSS cutting head spindle, where the electrode attaches, fine tunes cutting action for proper ammeter reading, and synchronizes with the Cammamatic Feed. Note: larger diameter electrodes and deep hole cutting require more vibrations)
Cammamatic Feed (A pneumatic SQSS cutting head feed system that converts electrical cutting signals into pneumatic signals and read on the ammeter by both the operator and the machine. A cutting current limiter selects cutting amps according to electrode diameter and power setting for the Cammamatic feed to read. Disruption of cut due to buildup of cut particles, low coolant flush, coretip, or operator overfeed causes the Cammamatic feed to start “clear path cut”. This clear path cut is done by either slight electrode retraction or total electrode retraction to automatic shutdown of power machining cycles. The objective is for the Cammamatic Feed to maintain stable cutting amps and to correct operator error)
